Hey guys! We're Gabe and MaryLou Rodarte; the student pastors at Saddle Creek Church. Our heart and love is to see young people being motivated and captivated by the increasing revelation of Jesus Christ. We are moved to see a younger generation walking with Christ like Character, using their divine gifting, and influencing the world around them with power. We aim to have as much fun as possible encouraging students to be leaders in Saddle Creek Student Ministry (SCSM) and in their own environments.

January of 2009 we engaged the students at Saddle Creek to not look at youth ministry just as a place where they can receive but also a place where they can lead. SCSM has set a standard for the young generation and we have seen many students rise to the occasion.

We are excited about building new friendships, growing together, elevating each other, and having tons of laughs; all while experiencing a personal relationship with Christ and the power of his Love.

SCSM is our Junior and Senior high School ministry serving students from 8th through 12th grade. SCSM shatters the stereotype that church is boring! Our bi-weekend services are the 1st and 3rd Sunday of every month. And are created to celebrate in a way that is fun for believers and welcoming to those who don't normally attend church.

Hi, we are Daniel and Erricka Martin, Children's Pastors of the Saddle Creek Church. We are so honored that God has called on us to teach and impart into the children's ministry known as the "Kingdom Wranglers" (Nursery through 7th grade).

The children are precious FULL of FAITH children of God! Who are taught the foundations of God's Kingdom and Biblical Principles. We believe in the importance of teaching and raising your children not only by the Ten Commandments, but also by imparting in them foundational truth through the Fruits of the Spirit that will be rooted into them as they grow. When they have Christ-like characteristics and begin living by the Word of God, the future of all our lives is improved. The "Kingdom Wranglers" teachers believe in leading by example, full of Godly characteristics demonstrating to your children one week at a time, taking the time to discern where each one is spiritually in their life. Our heart is teaching your children not to just Hear the Word of God but Living by the Word of God everyday for the rest of their life!

Erricka and I have over 20 years of experience working in Children's Ministry as well as having a large family of our own. There is no greater Joy for us than seeing the children go on to our Youth Ministry and develop into Leaders themselves. Praise be to God! There is nothing more Humbling.

Usher/Greeter

Hi, we are Alan & Brandi Cowan, we head up the Usher and Greeter Ministry at our church. Our purpose and position is to serve and assist not only the Pastors but also the body of Christ. We take what we do very seriously for we are ministering unto God as we go about doing our duties. We want you to know that every member in the church has a position to fill and we want to encourage you to find yours.

As an Usher/Greeter we help with the natural running of the church, in order to free the Pastor to concentrate on Prayer and the Word. We also oversee the order and workings of the church service. Each ministry has its own function.

Greeters have a "spirit of hospitality" we want our members and visitors to feel welcome and at home when they come in. We feel that caring for someone is not just a mental attitude but an action. Our heart is to watch out for the needs and welfare of the body. We stand at the front door as you enter so we can pray over you and bless you as you come in. You may be unaware of this but know we are always on the lookout for you and your well being. We also provide you with information about the services and other activities in the church to point you in the right direction.

The Ushers are the armor bearers of the church. The term armor bearer was originally translated from the Hebrew word, nasa, meaning to figuratively or literally lift up, support or simply help. On occasion, Bible translators have translated the word, "help", from the Hebrew word, nasa. In light of these defining terms, we can see an armor bearer is one that helps or supports.

The basic attitude of a modern day armor bearer is one of servant hood. Therefore, it's no surprise the general functions of an armor bearer are: attend to, minister to, care for, help, be of use, assist, benefit, promote, support, make easy for, nourish and encourage are found in the formal definition of "serve". Whether you are assigned as a personal armor bearer, like me to Pastor Shawn or one God has designated to operate in the spirit of armor bearing toward your leaders, remember to: Give them the gift of support. God has ordained a chain of support in ministry. He has called leaders and supporters. Be a part of that chain and link up with your leadership.
